This course covers all the critical, basic first aid and is a practically orientated program. It will equip participants with the skills and knowledge to provide first response, life support and management of casualties and the incident until medical aid arrives.

Length of Qualification This certificate is valid for 3 years
Prerequisite Apply First Aid Nil (Minimum age for participants is 14 years)
Apply First Aid (1.5 Days) Nil (Minimum age for participants is 14 years)
Apply First Aid Plus (2 days) Nil (Minimum age for participants is 14 years)
Reaccreditation A current Apply First Aid Certificate that has been issued within the past 12 months
Objectives For the participants to gain the skills and knowledge of basic first aid to be able to deal with injuries most likely to occur in the workplace.
Expected Outcomes Successful participants will be able to, in real situations, render life saving and basic first aid to casualties in need.
Who Should Attend Particularly suitable for the first aider in smaller business or, in large organisations, for those who support the Occupational First Aider.
Accreditation Successful participants receive a Statement of Attainment for the following unit of competency
