This course teaches basic first aid skills in resuscitation and the management of injuries in an emergency situation. It is specifically designed for the workplace and complies with the guidelines of the Workplace Standards Authority.

| Reaccreditation | A current Workplace 1/ Emergency First Aid certificate that has been issued within the past 12 months. | |

| Expected Outcomes | Successful participants will be able to manage an emergency in the workplace until the ‘first aider’ arrives. | |
| Who Should Attend | All employees in the workplace who need to gain a basic knowledge of essential first aid. | |
| Accreditation | Successful participants receive a Statement of Attainment for the following unit of competency HLTFA201A - Provide Basic Emergency Life Support |
